About ArtMantra-Learn.Create.Express...
Founded in 2011 by multidisciplinary artist and educator Shantala Kaikini, ArtMantra began as a small, community-based teaching practice and has grown into a dynamic creative studio offering art classes, workshops, and cultural experiences for children, teens, adults, and corporate teams.
At its core, ArtMantra is a space where creativity, community, and cultural exploration come together. Grounded in both global artistic traditions and contemporary design, each class is thoughtfully designed to encourage hands-on, screen-free creativity, allowing students to slow down, observe deeply, and engage fully in the creative process.
ArtMantra offers a wide range of experiences including drawing, painting, mixed media art, puppetry, sensory art workshops, and Chaiscape® creative sessions. Every program is built around skill development, material exploration, and artistic confidence, making it accessible for beginners while enriching for experienced creatives.
As its founder and lead instructor, Shantala Kaikini brings together her background in applied art, art history, and decades of teaching experience to create an environment that is welcoming, inspiring, and culturally rich.
